Hi there,

This is my current site - True Graphix Design Company

If you could, be honest. I’m not looking for soft critique. Be brutal…tell me what’s hot, and what’s not. I’ll be coming up with a redesign here as soon as possible, but for the time being I thought I could use some feedback. Thanks guys! Much appreciated.

I had looked at your site earlier (from other forum post) and coming from gainesville (uf) I took a look at your site.

I think you obviously like the “web 2.0” style but somethings off about it. I’m not sure I like your vector illustrations and I hate your large solid green borders on things like the client examples.

I would spend some time studying other web 2.0 sites, also thinking about what audience you’re targeting down there in alachua/gainesville/ocala and maybe get a little less cheesy (monkey, hot car, etc)

but as you said you were looking for harsh, and i wouldn’t have bothered to actually think about your site if i thought it was hopeless so keep at it

Hi, I don’t like the colors. This color scheme doesn’t work for me. It is too bleak. Try something more controversial, grab the attention. It you are a designer try to show it on your web site. Make it different. And as of the company history, try to summarize it in 2 paragraphs nobody is going to read it anyway.

Good stuff. I appreciate the feedback. Yea, when I put my work up there I didn’t have much to begin with…On my next site I’ll be putting up more professional works. The monkey as my logo was a back and forth decision. But honestly, I think it’s an attention getter…and I’ve had nothing but compliments about it.

Image borders look too thick & heavy.

I don’t like the flash. The main thing for me is to make things far bolder! The washed out colours don’t grab your attention and make the text unreadible (or at least hard to read).

The colors are very bleak. I would love to see bold colors, Sorry I don’t like to logo either.
