Hi there very new to css although i understand there use it’s just when i come to write them i get very stuck, does anyone know of any example, there can show me or refer me to a web site that contains help, rember i am a complete beginer

You could try [url=http://www.w3schools.com]http://www.w3schools.com[/url].  They’ve got some good tutorials on a lot of things, specifically CSS, however,  they’re simplistic and a bit more technical than a great tutorial at [url=http://www.richinstyle.com]http://www.richinstyle.com[/url].

I fully agree with the suggestion of richinstyle.com’ tutorials on CSS but Webmaster Pete’s link points to http://www.w3schools.com/ which is also a very good tutorial site on CSS
