hi guys

i have a problem. i have been given some html files and have been asked to take out all the inline style elements of the files and develop a seperate external css file. does someone know an editor in which if i open these html files it highlights the css code so that i can easily pick up the code from here

thanx

I don’t know if tidy can do that.  It can “clean” <font> and other tags and create CSS but I’m not sure about pulling out inline styles.

We have some HTML and CSS editors in which we can differentiate them. You can do this in these editors, just go for a Google search you will find the editors.
