Mr. Jim,

I looked at your kitchen cabinets (was really trying to find the coffee) and a thought came to mind regarding your MORE links.

A good article on MORE links can be found at MAXDESIGN, maxdesign.com.au,  but a better link is here:

knusperpixel.com/playground/more-more-links.php

Kind regards,
Al Toman

Hi folks,
Just stumbled onto this site last night… this is cool to see all of the CSS designs/redesigns! Here are a couple to check out…

My own site-
Jacksonville Web Design TenTonWeb.com

A site I just made for my wife (still adding content to both)-
Mary Kay

Both of these are XHTML 1.0 and CSS validated - as well as 508/AAA compliant (validated back when Bobby was online).

Thanks a lot!
Jim S.

The thing that really bothers me is the font. It is too big!!!!If you want a professional look try smaller font - Arial or Verdana.

Thank you Gonzo13. I do not entirely disagree with what you are saying.

However, I made the font bigger on purpose so it would be easier to read. My Web Design page http://tentonweb.com/ is targeted at an older audience that has money to spend on a website. I am not so interested in “cool” or whatever people think is the “norm” or what have you. The font size I am using is a calculated decision on my part, based on what I think are the needs of my target (older) audience. Based on the contacts I receive from my website, I must be doing something right. I appreciate your feedback though.

I think perhaps we are both right in this case. Thanks!

While the xhtml/css compliant markup is admirable I agree that the design could use some work.

dianesummer.com isn’t a bad start. the organization on both sites of the information and lack of any navigation could be improved. It is a personal site however so acting as a blog in which long pages of journalesque subcategories are common and probably okay.
