can anyone point me to any links to free online tutorials on css coding.

I am also looking for code where i can create self scrolling text, within a text box, on my webpage.

I will further elaborate,

I want 1 line of text showing at a time, like someone is typing it out in front of you, until a maximum of 6 lines are showing,
Then I want line 1 to disapear and be replaced with line 7, line 2 disapears and line 8 replaces it ect up to 30+ lines on a continuous predefined loop, (it is for my poetry).
The lines of text have to be switchable to all text formats, numerical formats and predefined font colours via the use of 1 click radio buttons attached to the outside of the text box border.

any ideas on how i can do this? any help will be gratefully recieved

(In a heavily layden Sarcastic Voice) I dont know when i will be able to find the time to respond to all the feedback / help you all have posted to date,
(end sarcism)

for example someone could have told me i can use Javascript to get what i needed, I found a program that can be adapted with a bit of tweaking, so again thanks for all your help and input, and its goodnight from me.

Everyone has OTHER life outside the Internet, you’ve to understand.

If you want tutorials go to http://www.w3schools.com - EVERYTHING YOU NEED

Scripts? go to http://www.hotscripts.com, http://www.dynamicdrive.com or javascript.internet.com - ALL THE STUFF YOU NEED

enough help?

LMAO

Try the NEW INVENTION, “Google”

See dynamicdrive.com for a bunch of easy to plug in cross browser special effects.
See CSSplay.co.uk for special effects that only need CSS (no scripting)
See http://www.dictionary.com  (layden ?? LOL ... try instead .. http://dictionary.reference.com/search?q=laden&x=0&y=0 )

See you MOMMA for the spanking you so obviously deserve! :)

posting a specific query rather than a “where can I find info on c,d,e,f,g,h”  might be more helpful in future.
w3schools is the #1 recommended starting point.. so you don’t learn any bad habits.

No reason to be an ass about it.

Usually when you don’t receive a response, nobody knows the answer.

Had I been here when you asked the question, I probably would’ve told you that it can’t be done in CSS and you should try javascript. Sorry I wasn’t here.
