Don’t get this wrong but I seriously ask this question because with so many different CMS solution like Weebly
and wix is seem hard to charge big bucks for web design.
I know big companies needs good designer but for small to mid-sized companies there is a lot of cheap CMS.

Anyway What do you fine people think about the future.

no web design will never die, but yes generally people purchase templates for cheap so in way it has died, but for the big companies that want a powerful backend with a unique front end, web design will never die

There are many reasons webdesign, is never going to die. Webdesign is not only about the way a website looks, webdesign is quite possibly the most encompassing web term, it includes seo/development/graphics/structure/keyword research/layout/ppc. Why CMS’s are not good for small business- first all CMS’s are applications as such they require constant attention keeping it updated making sure your widgets are updated and themes are updated, then you have to also learn the particular structure of whatever CMS you want to use. Boston web design is not only about the graphical look although that is a small part. Every day I see more and more ads for help with tweaking a CMS this way or that way and I just laugh because they are so hard to customize for people who can use them, let alone someone who has never seen a WYSIWYG, I build custom content management systems that use php and xhtml, I use a very logical back end system to allow the customer to add/remove products and blog, and I also integrate the ability edit any part of the website they want, but setting it up that way means there is less design control.

That’s a very general question and the very general answer is, no, it’s not dead.

nope, like rock ‘n roll, fine art and astrology, web design will never die. don’t worry about all the free designs available, art is in our blood and true art is always a commodity. so, let your imagination run wild, whatever is unique is valuable.
