VBulletin is a very good forum. Very easy to make the updates too.

Beyond a doubt, VBulletin is the BEST, but it IS expensive - $160 dollars more than FREE SMF

Their forum (SMF)  is first rate, and, unlike VBulletin is also free (registration required for some downloads)

I would definitely recommend SMF, go to their forums and view their SSI.php and other integration function code.

I’ve made some design changes… what do you guys think… it’s not so much packed into a little space now :) and i’m working on using ems for my fonts and stuff, instead of px.

Not bad, but I like the old design more: http://www.ncgolfers.com/north-carolina/golf-courses.php  :))

looks good but it also looks a lot like designsnack.com but I don’t think golfers will be checking out Design Snack.

It may look close in colors but the layout is completely different.

And heck, I could take any site and find another out there that’s close to it. Just like Magazines they all have to be organized in simlair fashions. :)
