I am trying to put together a basic static web site for my wife’s business. It a long way from its final version (correct graphics, logos, images, fonts, information per page and so on) but I have hit CSS problem that I can’t figure out.

We want the header and footer to always be visible with the content in a scrolling div in between.  We want the whole page to be left-right centred.  What I have works in Firefox and IE8 but is not centred in IE7 and is just plain awful in IE6.

I’ve tried following advice on centring, but this seems to break headers and footers.

I would like to get the site to the point where IE7 is giving the right result as well as IE8 and FireFox and that it at least looks OK in IE6.

Can anyone help?
