Hey
I am planning on building a gaming site but not sure on how it should be done. I was going to just build it and use PHP & MySQL to pull articles/news/reviews and stuff from a database and display the descriptions on the main page but was wondering whether it might be a better idea to just use a CMS as I was going to have a community forum as well.
I dont know much about CMS’ and the benefits/downfalls but I doon’t know any PHP/MySQL either and am currently learning. Would it be easier to use a CMS or should I just do it with PHP & MySQL anyway as it would be a good way of learning.
