I have submitted my site for the inclusion on CSS Drive, but thought that I should get everyone’s opinion on the design.

My site Balkhis has been redesigned recently.

I called the theme Blue-Navy.

The idea kept in mind in this design was simplicity, faster loading, cross compatibility between all browsers.

Let me know what you guys think about it.

IMHO, Simplicity should not be a reason for supersaturation. Being a strong color and using it for the whole background is very striking (in a good way). That being said, I believe it could do with a little more variation. I think that adding a different color (say white) to the background of your bottom footer would sort of cleanse the eyes of all of the blue the user has just seen. It doesn’t need much more, just something to fit things together and not have it feel like you’re running on and on and on in a endless sea of blue (unless that is the intention:P).
