Hello,
I have a fixed size div containing a 100% width table, IE7 doesn’t render the scrollbars until I resize the browser window.
And even when the scrollbars are rendered the content is rendered “under” the vertical scrollbar thus a horizontal scrollbar appears.
Using FF3 the rendering is correct.
I can’t remove the table.
Does anyone have any hint?
The following code can reproduce the behavior.
<!doctype html public "-//w3c//dtd xhtml 1.1//en" "http://www.w3.org/tr/xhtml11/dtd/xhtml11.dtd">
<html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml">
<head>
<title></title>
<style type="text/css" media="screen">
.testdiv
{
position: absolute;
left: 50px;
top: 50px;
width: 210px;
height: 200px;
background-color: #ffc0c0;
overflow: auto;
}
</style>
</head>
<body>
<div id="content" class="testdiv">
<table border="0" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" width="100%">
<tr><td>text text text text text text text text text </td></tr>
<tr><td>text text text text text text text text text </td></tr>
<tr><td>text text text text text text text text text </td></tr>
<tr><td>text text text text text text text text text </td></tr>
<tr><td>text text text text text text text text text </td></tr>
<tr><td>text text text text text text text text text </td></tr>
<tr><td>text text text text text text text text text </td></tr>
<tr><td>text text text text text text text text text </td></tr>
<tr><td>text text text text text text text text text </td></tr>
</table>
</div>
</body>
</html>
Thanks
Roberto
