The site has been developed from the ground up, using no prefabricated frameworks or software packages. The site resides on Apache server running PHP 4.2.1 and PostgreSQL. Unfortunately, I personally do not have the ability to move the site to a server running newer versions at this point in time.

The site employs all web standards and has been written in XHTML Strict 1.1 and CSS2. Proprietary CSS properties are being used currently until Firefox and WebKit fully support CSS3 properties in use.

The site also follows Section 508 up to Priority 3. It also follows guidelines set by the State of Illinois for ADA compliance and the W3C’s Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0.
