We’ve been musing at work about what the big design trends of next year will be. Over the past couple of years we’ve seen a lot (now too much) gloss, reflections and f*cking web 2.0’iness, large background images and more use of larger graphics and icons. I personally have also noticed more usage of horizontal scrolling sites.
But one thing I think we’ll be seeing is more sites like these. Designers trying to break away from the constraints of the typical browser site and trying to fuse in more elements of print design and artistic creativity. I personally would also like to see more watercolour :)
But you may well disagree with me, and I’d like to know what you think.
