WTF?? LOL

This Richard guy has more CRACK than “Joe the Plumber”!

None of them are “logo tutorials” - step by step instructions to reproduce a particular graphic and tossing some text beside it, is like calling a sheet of paper discussing how to make bread wafers and wine a “Communion tutorial”

A logo is more than the graphic or pretty colors

Richard, the best place to start is, as with any house, the FOUNDATION
First, read this article
http://www.redswish.co.uk/managing-brand-consistency/
Thats the mental foundation you need going forward.
Then, read up on COLOR THEORY, that is, reference material that tells you what the emotive effects are born out of certain colors, i.e. calming blues and greens, then earth tones, then ‘stimulating, warm’ reds and oranges.
Be aware of what certain color combinations may evoke, and also CROSS CULTURAL SIGNIFICANCE (if you dont plan to stay only in Kansas, Dorothy)
Now click your little red heels together and go forth young man!

Wow ! all the ten sounds great, designing a tutorial can be a serious challenge even for an expert. It depends on client needs and requirements, taste, domain specifics and the list goes on. You have done a good job.
