hope people don’t use these, not much point in having a logo if its not unique

Right that’s if you plan on branding your site.
These are perfect for on the go landing pages or adsense sites and stuff, saves you the 5min that you take making your own i say.

Nice find.

another witty remark from Micheal Coyle, who has provided again a link to his site which will have to suffice - in lieu of expert commentary.

Perhaps I misread the purpose of the logo sites, but I would expect that they were supposed to be ‘creative take off points’ rather than printer ready copy for a paying client?*

*this is of course different from a ‘PAIN CLIENT’ which dear Micheal must have too much of (or not enough of?) to the point that his bitter angst spills over to these few pages?

Australia is ‘down under’ for a reason, methinks!

mark you make me smile, thankyou. the title says 150 free vector logos for your site,  and along with things like css frameworks, its tonka design. go ahead and use your free vector logo on your site and your client will be more than happy with the template monster website you give them.

you are right though, i do seem to come on here and express annoyance a bit (and yes, i use my old site as a link, why not), which is probably not a good idea, as everyone starts somewhere and maybe complete css frameworks, bad information, and a bunch of crappy free logos they can pilfer is a good thing.

btw, nice “pain” client accent jab, i like. what country are you from there me mate?

I usually bookmark this sort of stuff and add it to my ‘browse for inspiration’ list…

Why, the only country in the world of course!
The one land where everyone else (even in their native land) is a ‘furrener’*
cue jingoistic :
U.S.A.!! U.S.A.!! U.S.A.!! U.S.A.!! U.S.A.!!

*foreigner

But where do you get off with “and a bunch of crappy free logos they can pilfer is a good thing.”
If they are given away FREELY, how can they be “pilfered”???

ah, but you see, that statement is a rung in your ladder of superiority you build, you of course NOT being the lowly thief who “pilfers” but rather one who comes by his results via the hard work of the righteous!

Fact is, we ALL stand on the shoulders of giants, and there is NOTHING wrong with using a CSS framework - the information given is not ‘bad’ (unless you mean “bad” in a forbidden fruit /tree of life Adam and Eve sort of way)
:)

perhaps you feel threatened by the free scattering to the winds of knowledge you painful gleaned ? many fruitless nights beating your head against the wall, trying to get a page to render identically in IE and FF until… epiphany!
...but then, some asshole finds a Yahoo CSS framework and in an instant, your hard won insight borne by your native Aussie skills and intuition is reduced to 20 seconds with Google :(

I share your pain, your resentment as the neophytes trespass on what was once the exclusive province of the High Priest!

But fear not, it is only incentive for us to add even greater value for our client
