A blogger's rants on the continued existence of IE6 but also futile campaigns to get people to ditch the browser.

I am really sick and tired of these stupid,puerile IE6 is the bane of all evil rants, or the goddam idiotic pop ups I get from assholian sites pointing out that I AM using IE6 and urging me to switch. People use IE6 because that is what they have on their machine -a machine they have no control over - so berating them does no good. Besides, all the major flaws are known and easily worked around. Supporting IE6 therefore, is NO MORE difficult than supporting all the NEW browsers -Like Iphone, etc.
