jQuery Image Magnify

This jQuery script enables any image on the page to be magnified by a desired factor when clicked on, via a sleek zoom in/out effect.

Not too shabby for an extra 5kb overhead. Handy if you’re sick of lightboxes.

Yeah, it pretty nice but to be honest there are far better solutions out there. For example, here is a far superior jQuery Image Magnifier.

This is just what I was looking for. A fairly light weight, easy to implement alternative to using light boxes. I will definately be using this on my blog. You guys are so on top of things. Thank you yet again.

this one has been around a LONG time, but nice to have the memory jogged with this - the ‘lightbox’ effect is really stale,slow and stupid.. with this, since the complete pic is already loaded, it pops up fine w/o the ‘Ajax loading’ foolishness

small footprint size doesn’t hurt either!
