Will there be a search functionality on the news portion of the site? That would melt my face off!

You can already search just the “news” section when you visit the search page. Nonetheless, there will be a search box on each page with the new design, so it’ll probably be easier.

Best improvement: Lose the stupid thumbs Up/Thumbs Down “rating” buttons, which rather than provide some indications of an article’s value, seem only to indicate some idiot’s propensity for clicking and milking the votes! :(
