Why the hate on something as benign as a site re-design?

Curiosity forced me to take a look, and sadly, the “hate” evidenced by the thumbs down ratings is well deserved.

First off, some moderation of news posts to CSSDrive should be put in place, because in NO WAY such a post worthy of ‘front page’ status.  (Perhaps I elevate front page placement at CSSDRIVE to be indicative of worthiness and value, if my belief is misplaced then I apologize!)

The ‘designer’, (and I use the term “designer” loosely* - how loose? - Think Pamela Anderson AFTER the Tommy Lee sex tape :( ) 
has taken a moderately attractive website and converted it to a moderately unattractive one. This deserves front page status?
I think its a bit too self-serving to be a “news poster” and be posting “not quite news” about your own site.

The site fails in IE6, hiccups in Opera/Safari and has sloppy graphics all around.

Did I mention it wastnt worthy of being a front page post at CSSDrive? at most, he should just have text messaged his ex-girlfriend.*

* why did I say ex-girlfriend? well, with a site like that, could i dare say CURRENT girlfriend???*
