I agree with the previous poster, however the example could have been fleshed out with some more meaningful and applicable examples.

I may write a new tutorial that explores some of these features in more detail.

dammit my message was truncated.

I meant to say
“GeorgeC, contact me at the email in this post and lets work something out!
I’ve been pissing on people’s contributions for a while, (and deservedly so too) it’s only fair I though my hat into the ring (or commode)

Sounds good Mark! Wait, I’m still confused what you’re proposing though? lol Are you offering to write a “proper” tutorial on using PHP to draw images?

Actually, I was thinking of that and more!

For instance, once of the annoyances of some of the news articles is that they just HINT at a technique but dont show a real world implementation or provide a zip file you can just download , edit and run - or dont show the example in a real world situation.

The other issue too, is that many of these examples seem to think that people all do static html websites - I know I dont, and some times its hard to mentally map a UL list to the required FOREACH loop in PHP or FOR loop in ASP/ASP.net to take what you usually have (a database) to get what you want (nicely formed semantic output)

So the article could be as follows.

Optional: For low calorie consumption use a txt file, or for a rich diet, add two cups of mySQL

Lol Mark, I can’t tell if you’re serious or just being sarcastic in your last comment. Anyhow, I don’t see a valid email address entered with your comment, so can’t contact you (assuming the former). :)
