I disagree! Web design ( or ANY design for that matter) is all about creative thinking, experiences in other fields and media being brought to bear etc.
Looking at some 80’s video games can easily give you ideas for user interfaces and navigation/dashboard styles!
I for one, am tired of every web page using a “sheet of paper” metaphor for layout…especially when it doesnt have to.
Not that we need some ultra confusing 3D parallax scrolling….or do we?? :) nice site, gave me a few ideas
